| Dear C4FA Supporters,
At the County’s next Board of Supervisors’ Meeting (BOS) on Wednesday, Dec 8th, as a result of the Court’s ruling in our lawsuit against the County, there will be a vote to pass a “new” 20 Year McClellan-Palomar Airport Master Plan – Agenda Item 6. This is HUGE. Elections are coming up. Voters need to be heard.
The option we are asking the BOS to pass is to:
· Keep Palomar Airport as a B-II Airport (“planning speak” – it’s the current size)
· Add EMAS at the end of the runway (“aviation lingo” – crushed material to help stop airplanes in emergencies)
· No runway extension. AT ALL.
This is HUGE and we need YOUR HELP to make sure this happens. It’s simple and it’s FREE – We just need a little of your time.

The best way to help us is to show up at the BOS meeting on Wednesday and speak. We will have carpools available for those vaccinated participants who prefer not to drive. If you can’t be there in person, please call into the meeting. We need strong participation from residents to keep Palomar Airport small. And everyone, please make an E-Comment. Comments are tracked by the County.
