The next Palomar Airport Advisory Committee (PAAC) will be held:
Thursday, November 20, 2025, 6PM
Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce
5934 Priestly Drive. Carlsbad, CA 92008
At this meeting, the PAAC will be asked to recommend the United Airlines Lease to the Board of Supervisors. As you are probably aware, this lease will add 4 more flights per day of the same 76 passenger jet as the AA flights.
We really need to have a presence at this meeting and voice our concerns about the continued Palomar Airport expansion intentions of the County.
It would be great if we could get 20-25 participants at this meeting, to visibly show our community solidarity in opposing such an expansion.
(We were very successful in a similar show of community opposition at the Carlsbad City Council Meeting on Oct. 28)
You can speak in Public Comments at the beginning of the meeting, or when the Agenda Item is scheduled. (Be there by 5:45 to sign a speakers card). Note: I f you are not comfortable speaking, you can be in the audience and I will ask you to stand in a show of our opposition.
