PALOMAR AIRPORT ALERT
Your presence and your support are needed!
The quality of life for residents of Vista and nearby communities is at stake.
Vista City Councilman Dan O’Donnell has requested that a resolution from the City Council to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors be put on the Council October 22nd agenda objecting to the current proposal to allow American Airlines to fly in and out of Palomar Airport.
• The planes are too big for this airport.
• The proposed flights ignore the existing voluntary quiet hours.
• Current flights already ignore the restrictive flight paths.
Testimony at the recent PAAC meeting overwhelmingly showed Vista and Carlsbad residents oppose this proposal.
Please join us at the Council meeting to support the resolution — Tuesday, October 22— 5:30 p.m.

Carlsbad Planning Commission News:
Great News! C4FA is pleased to announced that the City of Carlsbad Planning Com- mission approved 3 Resolutions to move Carlsbad’s new General Plan and Zoning Amendments forward to the Carlsbad City Council for consideration by a vote of 6-1. These General Plan and Zoning Amendments will help ensure that the City of Carlsbad retains LOCAL CONTROL of any expansion plans at Palomar Airport, as granted by the Annexation Agreement and upheld by the Courts.
The matter is expected to be on the Carlsbad City Council Agenda in November. Stay tuned. We’ll keep you posted.
